Chief Commercial and Growth Officer, Six Nations Rugby
Navin joined Six Nations Rugby in 2023 as its new Chief Commercial and Growth Officer, overseeing all commercial and marketing strategy for the business, which encompasses international media rights, commercial partnerships, fan engagement and strategic growth initiatives.
Within his role, Navin manages the Commercial and Marketing in house teams at Six Nations Rugby, who are responsible for business development, partner management, digital and social content strategy and delivery, broadcast operations, and events.
Since joining Six Nations Rugby, Navin has been instrumental in leading its media rights strategy and sales process for some of the biggest properties in global rugby, securing major new long- term partnerships for the men’s and women’s game with the likes of BBC and ITV in the UK, France TV and TF1 in France, NBC in the USA, and an innovative new partnership with TNT Sport, signalling the broadcasters first foray into international rugby.
Navin has also overseen major new commercial partnerships with global brands that include Guinness, BKT, Quilter, Breitling and IHG Hotels & Resorts, cementing their involvement in international rugby.
Prior to Six Nations Rugby, Navin held the position of Commercial Director at The FA Group, where he played a pivotal role in reshaping the organisation’s commercial and digital landscape. Navin led the execution of a comprehensive commercial strategy that has strengthened the FA’s portfolio — spanning the England teams, Wembley Stadium connected by EE, the Emirates FA Cup, the Barclays FA Women’s Super League, and the Adobe Women’s FA Cup. His remit included broadcast rights, sponsorship, events, licensing, merchandising, hospitality, and content strategy. and his tenure was marked by major commercial partnerships, innovation in fan engagement, and measurable progress in the organisation’s digital transformation.
Canadian born, Navin has spent a large portion of his career working in North America, but in roles with a global remit. Before relocating to the UK, he served as Chief Commercial Officer and member of the executive leadership team for the USGA, where he directed a global commercial strategy that included broadcast and digital rights across 190 countries, new product launches across OTT and mobile, and robust growth in fan engagement and corporate partnerships.
Earlier in his career, Navin held senior roles with Scripps Networks Interactive, WWE, Wasserman, and Golf Channel, building a reputation for strategic thinking and commercial acumen, following his start in management consulting at Accenture.
Navin is a graduate of the University of Toronto. He currently resides in Surrey, UK with his wife and two daughters.
