Drew Barrand

With close to 30 years’ experience working across a diverse range of businesses in sport, Drew has experienced the industry from all corners in a career that has covered international federations, governing bodies, brands, and media companies. In May 2023, he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Aquatics GB, the UK governing body for swimming, diving, para-swimming, artistic swimming, and water polo. The organisation is tasked with delivering success for the British team on the global stage across the aquatic disciplines whilst growing the impact and reach of one of the UK's most popular participation sports. Since his appointment, Drew has led Aquatics GB to a best-ever medal count at the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the largest contribution of any sport with 22% of the total Team GB medals at Paris 2024, whilst also producing a significant growth curve in the sport's fanbase and revenues.
